8th Annual Book, Bake
and Plant Sale

 On
a lovely, sunny spring day people from Vershire and afar came to
the Church-Orr House. Thousands of books, hundreds of plants and
dozens of delicious baked items were available for sale. Thanks
to all who helped make this year's spring fundraiser . .

Vacation Week at the Library

 As
is usually the case during the April school vacation week, the
library was an active place during the week of April 20. There
was something happening every day of the week. On Monday, there
was the usual story time, and Tuesday Andrea Herrington led a
program on making sock . . .

 Vershire has a lot of
talented local entertainers, and on April 4, 2009, much of
this talent was on display at the Vershire Town Center at the 3rd annual cabaret. The limited seating for this gala event was sold out as the audience enjoyed tasty hors d'oeuvres and gourmet desserts while .
