Thanks to the generous donation to
VerShare of a home-theater-quality projector, we now have the
capability to show movies. On August 22, the last Friday
before public schools reopened, we had feast of pizza (thanks,
Kathy Young) followed by a showing of Charlotte's Web.
It's something we'll be trying again. Let us know what
movie you'd like to see. |

Successful Summer Camp Completed
|
Over 80 children enjoyed a
spectacular free camp experience again this summer. You
can read about it in the
online version of the Camp Chronicle,
produced by campers. As always,
hundreds of hands were
needed to make camp work so well. Our thanks to you all. |
A sunny day, hundreds and hundreds
of books, a table almost overloaded with baked goods and a huge
selection of plants - that was the scene on the lawn of Church-Orr
House. It was a huge success with lots of opportunity for
neighbors to visit and close to $900 was raised for the library.
