Senior Lunch
In October, 2003, VerShare began serving hot lunches for
seniors. Senior Lunch now happens on the first Wednesday of each month. Everyone is invited. The lunches
are served at noon at the Church-Orr House.
The December,
2007, Senior Lunch of ham, mashed potatoes, squash and green
peas, had a Christmas feel as many of those attending wore festive tops.
The meal was also topped off by Christmas steamed pudding made and
served by Jeannine Ricker.
